I was thinking of trying to come to God as an adult. do I have to stop being gay and trans to do so?

No matter who is coming to God, or when, we all come to God as we are. It's an open-door invitation. The condition for sincerely coming to God is a heart of contrition and repentance for our sins, something all of us have to do. But if we are sincere about coming to God, we are saying two things: 1) I will do whatever You tell me to do, and 2) do with me whatever You want. When you belong to God, you must authentically belong to God.
