The author is unknown and unknowable. Traditionally it was thought to be King Solomon, but there's no guarantee he wrote it, though he is certainly being invoked here as an authority figure somehow connected with the composition.
It would be my particular opinion that Jesus is NOT the speaker of the book. At the same time I'll say there are many spiritual lessons to be learned from the book that make us think about Jesus and the richness of His love for us.
