It's pretty tough to know how emotions act/react in a world without sin. Anger, for instance, is probably still possible (Eph. 4.26, and Jesus was angry without sin). Sadness too (Jn. 11.35) is not related to sin, but we're told it will not be part of Heaven (Rev. 21.4). My only point is that certain negative emotional states are not automatically connected with sin and may still have a place in a perfect world.

What would a human's emotional state look like in a perfect world?

I was just watching Inside Out lately and it got me pondering something. Pre-Fall, what were Adam and Eve's emotional states like? Are negative emotions a result of the Fall and therefore they were happy all the time? Or even in a perfect world, do negative emotions still have a purpose? I realize this is extremely complex and hypothetical but just interested in getting people's opinions.
