The Bible is firm on the truth that you get to choose, legitimately. It's not as if the ice cream store only has one flavor, and your dad says, "You can have whatever flavor you want as long as it's vanilla." The choice is for real, not just a ruse. Now, just because God can see the whole storyboard taped to the wall doesn't mean that he has forced you into a decision that wasn't your choice.

I go with my friend to T.G.I. Friday's. I know what he's going to order, because he always orders the same thing. It's what he likes. I don't make him do it, but it's funny because I know. I know my friend. Take that up to God's level and multiply that knowledge by 10 to the 70th power, but the dynamics are the same. Your decision isn't moot at all. It's really, genuinely, and totally yours.

Does God already know if I'm going to heaven or hell? If so, then why am I here? If not, then why is he God? The whole "Obey me (God) or go to hell" seems moot if he already knows.
