I'm all for unity and agreement, but my problem with ecumenism is that it usually only works if we commit to the lowest common denominator and the lowest standards of truth, which to me is not only inadequate but ultimately false.

What are some Christian thoughts on Ecumenism? (Ecumenism is the concept and principle that Christians who belong to different Christian denominations should work together to develop closer relationships among their churches and promote Christian unity.)
