The problem comes in interpreting what Jesus meant by "this generation". The other problem is what are "all these things". I have a list of 9 different ways that people have interpreted it. By far the majority interpret it to mean the destruction of the temple in AD 70 by Rome. "This generation" would be the present generation, and "all these things" refers to the Roman invasion and destruction.
Obviously some people feel that the prophecy has a double entrendre, with a primary fulfillment 40 years later and a secondary fulfillment in the end times. When we dip into prophecy, we enter murky waters. We can talk about it more specifically, even verse by verse, if you wish.
