I can't speak for all Christians. I am a Christian and I think space stuff is really cool.
> I am interested to hear a Christian's opinion on endeavours such as space travel
Space travel is awesome. What a challenge, but we are learning so many amazing things about the universe.
> and sending beings from Earth to other planets
This is cool, but possibly will never be a reality. In Stars Wars they jump to light speed, but even at light speed it may take 50 years to get there. In the movie "Passengers" the travelers were put into some kind of "sleep" to make the trip. That may also be something we never figure out how to do. Such things would be cool if some day they were figured out, though. Can you imagine??
> Do you believe humans were meant to remain on Earth?
No. I think that's thinking just as small as those who used to say humans weren't meant to fly.
> How do you think God feels about one of his humans building a car, and then a rocket to take his car to Mars (and beyond)... just because he can?
God gave us incredible brains with amazing capacities, and an exciting sense of creativity. It's impossible to conceive of Him being upset that we use it.
