The dragon in Revelation is figurative language, not a literal dragon. It's apocalyptic imagery and symbolic of Satan.

We should think of God talking through the donkey rather than the donkey talking with human speech, just as God speaks from a cloud or from a burning bush. The cloud isn't talking, nor is the bush talking. In this case, it's not the donkey talking but God speaking out from within the donkey.
