No, I've never blessed water, whether I drank it or not. Never even did it discretely. I'm a Protestant, and as a Protestant it doesn't make sense to me. I understand the idea of dedicating something to a particular use (there has to be a dedicated electric line to the pool in our back yard). And I get that if something is going to be used in the temple or sanctuary, we dedicate to God's use and God's use alone (which is really what "holy" means: separated out). I get that. But the water we drink? No.
