The only way we know any of this stuff is because God revealed it to us in the Bible. That’s where we learn how it works, what to do, and whether it’s guaranteed or whatever. So all we can go by is what the Bible says. And it says that if you’ve asked Jesus to come inside you, and you are living in the newness of His life, then you can be sure. No doubts. Guaranteed. Doesn’t depend on you being perfect. Doesn’t depend on how you feel about it. Maybe I can put it this way: How do you know you own your car? Well, you gave some money, and you got a piece of paper that says the car is yours. Just a piece of paper? Yep, but that’s how our rules work. If you gave money and got the piece of paper, then that guarantees the car is yours. How can you know you’re going to heaven? You did what you were supposed to do, and so heaven is yours. That’s how God’s rules work.
