Who is Jesus?

Would you love Jesus if he didn't die for you?

Do you love Jesus only because he died for your sins? And if you found out he didn't die for your sins and you are held accountable for your own sins would you still love Jesus exactly the way you do now?

No, we love Jesus because He is God, and we are love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. It is the first and most meaningful and comprehensive command.

It's a nonsense question, like, "If there was no gravity would you still live on the Earth?" or "Would you still buy a car if no car came with it?" There's a whole package of what constitutes Christianity, and God paying for our sins is part of the package. There's no "car" if you take away the "car"; there's no Christianity if you take away what makes Christianity Christianity.
