When Jesus was on earth, one of the main behaviors he did was miracles of healing—making people whole. He healed lame people, blind, deaf, and sick. He also said that the kingdom of God was present where he was present, that the kingdom of God belonged to those who would spend eternity with him, and that the kingdom of God was what comprised eternity. In Isa. 65.19 (also Rev. 7.16-17) there is indication that in eternity there will be not be any inadequacy, deprivation, or insufficiency. What is described is an ideal state where there is no threat of loss, no anxiety of deprivation, no concern of need, no collapse of society, no draining of values, and no competition for resources. It will be a place of completeness (Jn. 10.10).
