What does faith mean to you? And how important is it to your beliefs?

To me faith is making an assumption of truth based on enough evidence to make that assumption reasonable. It is central and foundational to my beliefs. While there are certainly levels of belief, I generally don't believe anything that I'm not convinced has enough evidence to mark it as truth.
