Board index Resurrection of Christ

The resurrection of Christ is the fulcrum of everything we believe, and a turning point in history, no matter what you believe. If it's real, the implications are immense. If it didn't happen, the implications are immense. Let's talk.

Did all the apostles mention the resurrection?

I can't seem to remember off the top of my head. But I remember hearing something in a debate. That one of the apostles didn't even mention the resurrection. Which I found very odd. Can anyone shed light on this please.

They all mention it.

  • Matthew 28.6: "He is risen, just as he said."
  • Mark 16.6: "He has risen! He is not here."
  • Luke 24.6: "He is not here! He has risen!"
  • John 20.8: They understood from the Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead. Mary saw him. The disciples saw him.
  • Peter (who didn't write a Gospel) mentions it in his sermon in Acts 3.15: "God has raised him from the dead." He also mentions it in his letter: 1 Pet. 1.3.
