[Throw Away]

I've noticed on youtube there are TONS of christians making videos about their "prophetic dreams", visions, and "God speaking" to them that the end is nigh and that America will come under God's judgement very soon.

I fully understand that nobody knows the day or the hour of the second coming of Christ or of the rapture.

Why are there so many of these videos on youtube? How do you feel about these dreams? Do you yourself genuinely believe we are in the end times?

^ I copy and pasted that comment from a video. Why do so many christians comment in all caps? All caps, in my opinion looks like they are yelling and makes it more difficult for me to take them seriously.

There is a lot of eschatological fervor right now because people see several elements of prophecy as possibly happening, and others that could fall into place VERY quickly. There also seem to be a lot of (self-proclaimed) visions, which is hard to tell the legitimacy of. Many people through the millennia have thought they were in the End Times, but one of these times it is actually going to be true.

As for me, I do see a lot of pieces in place, but some important ones are missing. As I mentioned, those could arise and come to pass very quickly, so I'm very alert right now to these events, as many are. I'm not convinced it's the End Times, as so many have been wrong through the ages, but I don't want to be naive, either. It could be. My task and role, however, is to be faithful and to share the Word of Truth as actively as possibly, not to spend my days trying to guess the day and the hour.
