You haven't probably seen mixed opinions, at least among Christians. What you've most likely seen are people who interpret it differently from you. (Obviously non-Christians rarely if ever think these texts came from God.)

As Christians we all take the bible as divinely inspired. Some Christians take this much much further and insist that the bible is therefore "perfect" or "inerrant". Different people using those terms often mean somewhat different things by them. IMO, to understand these texts, it's important to remember that while they are divinely inspired, they still came to us though the minds and hands of humans.

Yes, the Bible is the Word of God. Hundreds, if not thousands, of times, the writers say, "And the Lord said." The Bible is God's revelation of Himself, and therefore His word. The Bible is God's interaction with humanity and His involvement in history, and therefore His word. The Bible is God's instructions to us about how to fulfill our creation mandate which is how to be in relationship with Him, and therefore it is God's word.
