What's the difference in being religious and living holy? Or is there a difference?

Sure. Being religious is observing behaviors to earn favor with God. We light candles, or attend church, read our Bibles, because we're trying to be a good person, or to do what we're supposed to do. Living holy is understanding that we are separated unto God. We're not trying to earn favor, but to let His life fill us. I don't want to put on a facade (being religious), but I want my nature to be like God (living holy). It's a difference in perspective, in attitude, and behavior. Being religious is mostly thinking about myself and trying to put on a certain air. Living holy is mostly thinking about God, denying myself, and letting Christ live in me.
