How did you decide to be a theist?

What was the decision process like? How did you evaluate the world's religions to decide which one had the most evidence supporting it?

To me, theism has the greatest amount of evidence in its favor. It's not a matter of proof, but instead which belief system can hold the weight of evidence with integrity. One must examine science, logic, history, philosophy, truth and reality and infer the most reasonable conclusion.

Also, in my research into the other major religions of the world (primarily Hinduism, Islam, and Buddhism), I find them lacking. To me they don't make as much sense when laid aside of science and history, logic and philosophy, truth and reality. When I weigh all the factors I can bring to bear, theism in general and Christianity in particular is the most reasonable to me.
