Suppose you were going to start your own fashion company. How would you present yourself to get the most number of customers?

Suppose you were going to be out in the community representing the nation of Nigeria. How would you dress?

Suppose you are going to be out in the community representing Aeropostale. What would you wear?

Now, suppose you are going to be out in the community representing God. What would you wear? Maybe that will lead you toward an answer.

Meryl Streep said, "Clothes are a kind of character."

Nicole Richie said, "Fashion is the ultimate form of self-expression."

We are always representing God, no matter where we are, who we’re with, or what we’re doing. And God wants us to dress in a certain way, just like McDonald’s, because we’re representing “the Company.” Businesses don’t make their employees dress ugly, because it’s a reflection on the company. God doesn’t ask us to dress ugly, or frumpy—we still get to pick something that we like—but he does ask that it’s modest.

I think “modest” means that you’re not drawing sexual attention to yourself by what you wear.
