When Jesus refers to offenses and woe to him through whom offenses come, in your opinion does this mean somebody who persistently tries to convince somebody against their faith or just a singular unintended offense/stumbling block? Thank you

Jesus is not advocating that we should never try to convince somebody against their faith. He specifically said in Matt. 28.19-20 that we should make disciples of all nations, which necessarily involves convincing somebody against their faith. Keener says, " 'Stumble” was often used metaphorically to refer to sinning or falling away from the true faith." In my mind, Jesus is saying that the way of the world is competition and superiority. This is not the way of the followers of Christ. Instead, we love our neighbor as ourselves. And as much as you do it to the “least of these,” you do it to Jesus (Mt. 25).
