God is always advocating for us. In 8.26-27, he says the Spirit intercedes when we don't know how or what to pray. God is always working towards ultimate divine good. God is going to make sure we reach the end to which we've been called: fellowship with Him (vv. 28-30).

v. 31: So if God is continually advocating for us, working toward ultimate divine good, and will make sure we will reach the end to which we've been called, then we need not have any anxieties or fears about our lives on this Earth, our relationship with God, or our final destiny. Nothing can cause a failure in God's effort to keep us in fellowship with Him (vv. 31-39).
