Obviously, only God knows that true status of the soul. We humans can't see that deep, and can't always accurately discern. Another thing that is unknown is whether your journey into atheism is temporary or permanent; that is yet to be seen.
My mind went immediately to 2 Tim. 2.11-13:
11 Here is a trustworthy saying:
If we died with him,
we will also live with him;
12 if we endure,
we will also reign with him.
If we disown him,
he will also disown us;
13 if we are faithless,
he remains faithful,
for he cannot disown himself.
So, the questions are really for you to answer: Would you describe your decisions as "faithlessness" or as "disowning"? Unquestionably, though, what matters is how God would describe your decisions.
Rev. 2.16 says that the one of overcomes and does God's will to the end is the one who is saved. It's not starting the race that earns you a medal, but finishing it.
To me one of the most important pieces, though, is that God's presence for eternity is for those who want to be in God's presence for eternity, and those who don't want that will not be forced to. Again, that's a question for you to answer, but it sound like you're An Atheist and Proud Of It, so that probably answers the question.
Your disclosure is intriguing to me. Hm, somewhere along the way you decided it was all nonsense. That's what I'D like to talk about with you. I, as might be obvious, have come to a complete different conclusion based on the same book.
