It is an expression of the family and church partnering together to bring kids into a healthy and permanent relationship with God. The role of the youth pastor is build an environment conducive to compassionate nurture and a vital expression of the life of God. The objective of youth ministry, then, is to contribute to the transforming of personalities into the image of Jesus by building relationships of influence between adults and youth who are together committed to Him, seeking every moment to allow the Holy Spirit inside of them uninhibited freedom to effect the transformation.
