No, God doesn't have a physical body. His creation of the material cosmos doesn't mean he is somehow composed of planets and galaxies; his creation of the world doesn't mean God is spherical; his creation of humans with bodies doesn't mean God has useless organs. When I said God can't give what he doesn't have, I was referring to qualities and the nature of things.

That's a really great answer! Thanks for it. One follow up: if God can't give things He doesn't have, does that mean that God has "useless" organs like an appendix or vestigial tail bone?

To me there's no reason to think that he doesn't. James 1.17 says that God is the giver of all good gifts to us, and a sense of humor and the ability to laugh are certainly good gifts. And since God can't give what he doesn't have, I'll conclude he has a sense of humor.
