Why do Satan and his demons fulfill end time prophecy instea

Why do Satan and his demons fulfill end time prophecy instead of impeding it?

In Biblical end time prophecies, it talks about how towards the end times, in the war against God, Satan and his Demons will “perform great signs and wonders” among other things. It also says in the Bible warning signs of the end, and states, “these thing must come to pass.” The question is, if Satan truly hates God, why wouldn’t he try to subvert this by simply doing nothing. If he does nothing at all, the prophecy can’t be fulfilled, and thus God’s plan wouldn’t be able to be completed. Also, considering Jesus said that the dead are in a state of sleep, they would remain there for eternity.

Just for the sake of clarity, It is the 2 beasts who will perform these "great and miraculous signs" (Rev. 13.13). Neither of the beasts is Satan or his demons. These "beasts" may be kingdom, worldviews, or individuals. It is the dragon in Revelation 13 who is the symbol of Satan (Rev. 13.1, 4; 20.2), not the beasts.

Yes. The events and course of the End Times is determined.

Great question. Thanks for asking it. Satan is under no illusion that he will win this; his intent seems to be not to win but rather to take as many with him as possible. He intends to deceive, blaspheme, steal and kill (souls). You know, sort of the mindset of "If I'm going down, I'm going to take as many with me as possible." That's what I get the thought of as I read and study this. Why doesn't he just not do it and prove God to be a liar? Because he can't help himself. He is so hellbent on deceit, blaspheme, slander and slaughter that he can't resist. It's his nature.

Also, his nature is that of pride, so he won't back down. He won't admit defeat. Remember the line from "Gladiator": "People should know when they are conquered." ... "Would you... Would I?"

I really don't like that. That makes me extremely angry. I wish he could be tortured and could feel the lost pain while all of humanity went to heaven and I wish that bastard never had a chance to do anything that sickening.

He will be tortured for eternity

Rev. 20.10: "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever."

He will pay for what he has done. So will anyone who spiritually deceives others

Matthew 18:6-7: "If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!"
