Do veterans go to heaven? Let’s say they killed someone, will that veteran go to heaven?

People who have the nature of Jesus in them to go heaven; people who refuse to repent of their sin nature do not. It doesn't have anything to do with being a veteran or being involved in war.

There is a widely accepted theory in Christianity called the Just War Theory. It proposes that there are legitimate uses for force, primarily the proliferation of a good and moral cause along with the suppression of evil. (The war against Adolph Hitler in WWII is often a poster child for this theory, but there are many other examples.) Again, it shows that a soldier killing someone in war doesn't negate their salvation.
