For at least the next nine months, and probably longer, our country is inevitably going to have an extended conversation about socialism and capitalism. And no doubt Jesus is going to get dragged into the conversation, with both sides claiming that He is on their side and in their camp.
So my premise is going to be that Jesus doesn’t support either side, so leave Jesus out of it. Run your campaign, but don’t malign Jesus in the process.
